Teams Often create Events on the calender of their homepage to signify upcoming events in their season (training, games , meetings, occasions etc). When creating an event it is possible to Create a name for the event. The name being whatever the event is - eg "Urgent Meeting". The Type of the event would be classed as either a game, training, meeting, or special occasion. This can also be modified at any time. The date and time of the event can be modified at any time, and set by the team administrators only ( generally coach and manager).

Location of the event is a very vital part of the "creating an event" process. On vTeam we offer locations to you as a guidance and directory to all those attending the event. Once provided with details of the location, we upload the location onto the website where you can simply just select where the event will be taking place. Members who have entered their home address onto their vTeam profile will be provided with specific driving instructions on how to travel to the event. Additional information may also be added to the event at any time.

You may visit an event by visiting your teams page, then opening the calender by selecting the date of which the event takes place. When an event has been created on a specific date, that day will appear in a Bold font on the calender. Where you can hover your mouse over to see basic information or click to receive the full details.

Pictures may be added to the event Prior and even after the event has occurred. If you wish to do so, please open up the event as previously explained so you can see the full details. You will see a phrase at the top stating " No photos from this event yet - why not add one?". Upon clicking this link you a directed to an upload panel where you can simply browse your own documents on your computer and identify which file you would like to upload.
